Cherry Hill kids to enjoy sewing class series

Sewing is a skill that can be enjoyed throughout a person’s life, and a newbie-friendly workshop series in Cherry Hill will teach the fundamentals of the craft at an early age.

Sew Authentic Studio has scheduled a Freshman Sewing 101 course, and kids who participate will learn skills and techniques they will be able to build on. The tuition price for the entire series is $175, but new students can attend one workshop free of charge.

Learners between the age of five and eight will be taught the fundamentals of using a sewing machine, where no previous experience is required. The classes will each run for 55 minutes and there will be a break so that the students can enjoy the provided snacks. While the equipment and materials will be supplied by the planners, those who have their own portable sewing machine are welcome to bring it along. They will be asked to supply notions and fabric to complete their various projects.

Children are often eager to learn new skills, and hosting a series of kid-friendly classes gives a small business a way to help foster this interest. These may often be successfully promoted using materials supplied by flyer printing companies.

Sew Authentic Studio will begin the Freshman Sewing 101 course on March 3. It will wrap up on March 31, and each session will run from 3:30 until 5:30 pm.
