Cherry Hill Golden Mile adds new retail stores and restaurants
Garden State Park is developing more stores in Cherry Hill that will open soon. The stretch of one mile from the Cherry Hill Mall to Golden State Park has been called the Golden Mile.
A Shake Shack known for milkshakes, hamburgers, chicken, hotdogs, fries, and frozen custard is being developed. It serves breakfast too. It is expected to open in August according to the real estate developer.
The new developments include offices, a sports bar, and several retail stores. Developers want to add sports betting to the sports bar.
The mayor Chuck Cahn say this is an amazing retail location. The new development will offer customers many options for buying merchandise and eating. Last year a developer completed an apartment building with a club house. It is for adults 55 and over.
Work on a Costco will begin soon according to John Taikina from M & M Realty Partners. It is planned to open in 2020.
Other stores that will be built are Trader Joes, TJ Maxx, and a HomeGoods store. They are aiming for opening in 2020. Cherry Hill has print shops that design promotional items for businesses like this.
Other new tenants will be Playa Bowls known for healthy food and acai bowls, a yoga clothing store for women, and a cosmetic surgeon. There are also plans for a hotel to be built at Towne Center.
