Cherry Hill asked to help restock thrift shop
A Cherry Hill area non-profit thrift store has put out an urgent call to the community seeking assistance, after a fire caused the loss of its entire inventory.
The team at the Goodwill Store and Donation Center in Egg Harbor are hoping the local community will be generous in its support, and all sorts of donations will be welcome. There are three drop boxes set up at AAA locations, and a special activity will also be taking place.
To help restock the shelves quickly, the group has organized a Stuff the Truck event. The public is encouraged to drop by with their contribution, and the goal is to completely fill the vehicle. It will be parked at 700 Laurel Oak Road, and once it is full, it will be driven over to the Goodwill store. A list of items that can be accepted for donation has been prepared
