Cherry Hill area to help companion animals in need
Animal rescue and welfare groups help to fill a gap in the Cherry Hill area social safety net, and to help fund their activities, a special celebration is on the way for this September.
The registration system for vendors at the 27th Annual Woofstock Festival is now open, and interested companies are being encouraged to apply. The celebration will be taking place outdoors, and its organizers have explained that last year, more than 100 businesses and not-for-profit groups were in attendance.
As well as the vendor area, the function will boast live entertainment and a selection of food trucks and a beer garden. A raffle will take place, and the Voorhees Animal Orphanage (VAO) Alumni Parade, which has consistently proven to be popular, will be making its return. This will be the organization’s largest fundraiser for this year.
One of the keys to ensuring an activity will be a success is making sure that it is appropriately marketed within a community. A printing services company will be happy to lend a hand promoting events like this one.
