Silver Center For the Arts schedules exciting lineup

The Silver Center For the Arts at Plymouth State University has an exciting lineup of music, author lectures, and special events.

The All New England Jazz Festival will play on March 5 from 6- 9 pm in the Hanaway Theater. There will be top jazz bands from six New England states performing, and the PSU Big Band and Jazz Workshop.

The Scripts National Spelling Bee sponsored by New Hampshire Union Leader will have the preliminary competition with 200 state top spellers on March 7 from 9 am – 5 pm in the Hanaway Theater. This is free and open to the public.

The Eagle Pond Author Series will have Jeff Oaks, author of the poetry book Little What published by the Lily Poetry Review, speak on March 17 from 7-8 pm in the Smith Recital Hall. His poetry has appeared in literary Journals, and he teaches at the University of Pittsburgh. This event is also free.

On March 18 from 7-9 pm the Symphonic Band Concert will perform in the Hanaway Theater. Printers design and Print Flyers for events like this.

The musical the 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee will perform on March 26 in the Studio Theater at 7 pm, March 27 at 7 pm, March 28 at 1 pm and 7 pm, and April 1, 2, 3, 4 at 7 pm. This musical follows the tweens competing in the spelling bee.
