A Plymouth State University (PSU) fundraising tradition has been revived this year by a group of students.
Juniors and Seniors belonging to the Future Alumni Board (FAB) have organized the fundraiser to promote a culture of giving among the university’s graduating classes.
The Class of 2023 made Plymouth State Pint Glasses available to those who choose to donate $20.23 or more. Plus, to those who were at least 21 years of age, a drink ticket for the Senior Week event “Pints with PSU”. In total, from over 100 donors the class raised almost $3,000 for the PSU Student Support Foundation.
Printing services can be an instrumental tool when it comes time for universities to seek financial assistance from their alumni.
The Foundation’s mission is to assist PSU students in dire need of financial help. This assistance can come in the form of emergency financial grants or supplies from the campus food pantry, which the Foundation maintains. The $3000 from the Class of 2023 will go to providing aid to several students experiencing hardships.
On campus, the planting of a Senior Class Giving Tree and its dedication took place to honor their generosity on the occasion of the PSU’s 152nd Commencement ceremony.
A variety of ways for alumni and others to make a donation to the PSU Student Support Foundation exists including, but not limited to, a legacy gift in a will, monthly automatic payments, and a one-time gift of stock, property or cash.Get a Free Quote for Pint Glasses
