Plymouth venue offers range of June performances

The Flying Monkey Movie House and Performance Center in Plymouth has an exciting lineup of concerts, special guests, and movies in early summer.

On June 6 at 7:30 pm. James Van Praagh will perform. A spiritual medium, he has written the Books Talking to Heaven and The Power of Love. This performance is for adults only.

Jake Shimabukuro will perform on June 8 at 7:30 pm. He is a ukulele player and composer who combines jazz, blues, rock, classical, and folk music in his performances.

Jay and the Americans, a popular rock and roll group from the 1960s, will perform on June 9 at 6:30 pm. Doors open at 5:00 pm. The band is best known for the song ‘She Cried’.

On June 13 at 7:30 pm, The Outlaws, a Southern country rock band, will be on the stage. Their first three albums became gold and platinum.

Gaelic Storm is the entertainment on June 14 at 7:30 pm. The Celtic band plays Irish and Scottish music, and has made Billboard charts appearances.

Judy Collins, the well-known singer songwriter, will appear on June 15 at 7:30 pm. She is also a film maker, painter, and speaker.

Lastly, a silent film will be shown on June 20 at 6:30 p.m. with live music. The film is Safety First with comedian Howard Lloyd. Plymouth has Print shops that design and provide poster printing for businesses like this.

The Flying Monkey serves appetizers, dinners, snacks, desserts, beer, wine and soft drinks at shows. They are located at 39 S. Main Street.
