The Keniston-Freeman Summer Concerts are scheduled until the end of summer, and take place on The Commons in downtown Plymouth, all from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
The Uncle Steve Band will play on August 7. This family band performs rock, blues, folk, country, and rhythm. Refreshments will be provided by the Plymouth Fire Department.
On August 14, The High Range Band will entertain. They are a folk blue grass group that plays mandolin, fiddle, guitar, bass, banjo, and drums. Refreshments this time are provided by Cub Scout Pack 56.
The Red Hat Band will perform on August 21. This is a classic three-piece rock band that plays the guitar, bass, drums, and has vocals. Refreshments will be served by Pemi Youth Center.
Annie and the Orphans will entertain on August 28. They play rock and roll from the 50s, 60s, 70s. It is a six-person band that plays, drums, trumpet, bass, keyboard, provides vocals, guitar, and saxophone. The Park and Recreation Commission will provide refreshments.
The Plymouth Commons has a gazebo and grassy area where concertgoers can sit. Plymouth has Print shops that make and provide flyer printing for events like this, helping to get the word out locally.
Concertgoers are advised to bring their own chairs and blankets. Refreshment are available to purchase, but the concerts themselves are free.
