Plymouth’s college-bound young people and their parents will be happy to know that for the sixth year running, the tuition fee at Plymouth State University (PSU) will remain unchanged.
It was recently announced that following a vote carried out by the University System of New Hampshire (USNH) Board of Trustees, tuition rates for the state’s public university system will remain at the same level they were for the 2019-20 academic year. The USNL includes not just Plymouth State University, but also Keene State College and the University of New Hampshire in Durham.

For students who are residents of New Hampshire, full-time tuition at Plymouth State University is $14,558 with an estimated room and board cost of $12,104. Tuition costs for in-state students at Keene and the University of New Hampshire are $11,754 and $15,520 respectively.
According to the USNH release, it has provided over institutional financial aid of $250m since 2019. Tuition for out-of-state students at Plymouth State will also not go up this coming school year, remaining at $25,498.
WalletHub, a personal-finance site, issued a 2023 study ranking college student debt by state in which New Hampshire was No. 1 for average student debt, No. 2 for percentage of students with debt, and No. 7 for overall student debt.
