Nearly a dozen pre-condo sites up for sale by town

The Town of Plymouth is offering 11 sites for sale within the Tenney Mountain Ski Area and will be accepting bids over the coming weeks.

The group of properties being offered for sale is frequently referred to as Eagles Nest. The minimum bid for 11 pre-condo sites will be set at $17,200. The property will be sold “as is” and any questions concerning the relevant parcels can be presented to the Town Manager Kathryn Lowe.

Bids may be hand delivered or mailed to Kathryn Lowe, Town Manager at 6 Post Office Square. Bids must be in a sealed envelope placed inside an addressed outer envelope. The inner envelope should indicate that it contains a bid response to the sale of 11 Condo sites by the Town of Plymouth and located at Tenney Mountain Ski Area. Adding few Business Cards to a bid envelope increases name recognition in situations like this.

Inside each bidder’s envelope should also be a certified bank check for 5% of their bid, which will be credited towards the purchase of the lots if accepted or returned to them. The inside envelope will remain sealed until opened at 1:15 pm on April 14, 2021.

Any bids dependent on an environmental inspection financing or other contingencies will be rejected. Otherwise, bids will be accepted up until 1:00 pm on April 14. The full purchase price must be tendered within 90 days or the winning bidder will forfeit all deposits and the next highest bidder will be selected.
