Plymouth State University (PSU) will be offering a one-hour Kids Power Camp for little children on three separate occasions next month.
On June 5, 12, and 19, little ones who are 1-2 years of age will be introduced to a variety of games, sports and group activities from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with the assistance of one of their parents. Mom, Dad, or a guardian will have an opportunity to learn how to help their child develop their motor skills via a series of fun activities and games, while at the same time promoting social interaction. They will also have the opportunity to meet other parents with children of their own child’s age.
A poster printing service can be used to promote an event where interested parties are most likely to be found.
On those same dates and starting at 10:00 am, a similar session geared for children ages 3-5 will take place. Also having a run time of an hour, these sessions will have a goal of introducing children to several sports in a safe and structured environment. The activities will incorporate balance, hand-eye coordination, and agility, all of which are key to enabling children to develop the ability to play sports.
Each session is $10 per child and families may register more than a single child per qualifying age group, provided they fill out individual reservations for each child.
