What's Happening in Plymouth, NH…

The New Hampshire Music Festival (NHMF) has announced the dates and line up for this year’s event, which will be the 72nd of its kind.

Each year here in Plymouth at the foot of the White Mountains, the Festival offers outstanding live classical music performances by exceptional artists from around the country. The NHMF offers traditional classical music while also exploring contemporary classical pieces.

Many local businesses benefit form events such as this, working with their local printing services to advertise special deals to attendees.

Founded in 1952 the festival began with a small chamber orchestra performance and has grown into a cherished summer event lasting four weeks and encompassing 12 performances. For more than 30 years, the festival has had a home at Plymouth State University (PSO) in its Silver Center for the Arts, although other New Hampshire venues also host some of the performances.

Each week of the four-week series will have its own theme with one performance being held at PSO’s Silver Center for the Arts each week. Week 1 will be Midsummer Serenade on July 11, Week 2 is Beauties & Beasts on July 18, Week 3 is Remember Me on July 25 and Week 4 For the People on August 1.
