‘Fire and Ice: A Hot Night for a Cool Cause’ is taking place in Nashua later this month. It is a fundraiser for Marguerite's Place, Inc., and the goal for this year's event is to raise $100,000.
The emcee of the gala event will be Mike Morin. Guests will be treated to tasty appetizers, drinks like the chili martini, and dessert. They can then take part in a silent auction, listen to several speakers, and dance. The Floral Competition will allow guests to vote on their favorite arrangement and have a chance to take it home.
To fit with the evening's theme, guests are encouraged to dress in hot and cool colored clothing. Sponsorships can be purchased from $500 to $5,000 to further support the charity and the event itself.
Marguerite's Place is an organization that provides transitional housing and support services for single mothers and their children.
