A lazy summer day can be perfect for sitting down with a good book, and the Nashua Public Library will be helping to promote literacy by running its summer reading kick-off party.
The Library will be kicking off its annual Summer Reading program with a party, and everyone is on the guest list. It will offer lots of family fun, and there's no entry fee being charged.
The celebration will be filled with activities, and bounce houses will be on site as well. An inflatable corn maze , popcorn, Sub Zero ice cream and lawn games will all be part of the fun. Live music will be playing, and the kids can spend some time at the make and take crafting stations. A gardening activity booth and plant clipping swap are on the agenda, and there will be library staff on hand to help kids register for the reading program. A sensory friendly booth has been planned, and there will be other fun as well.
Many communities offer activities during the summer months to occupy local kids during their school break. A poster printing company can use graphic design techniques to prepare marketing materials to help keep the public aware of upcoming events.
Nashua Public Library will be kicking off its seasonal literacy program on June 12th. The venue is located at 2 Court Street.
