Tough guys and girls sort for this years Blizzard Blast

This winter, men and women from Nashua will be putting their physical skills to the test in an assortment of obstacles that are intended to be as fun as they are challenging.

The participants in the 2019 Blizzard Blast can choose to go through the course once, while those who would like to really stretch their limits can do so over and over. Since the event will be held outdoors, those who register to participate are reminded to dress warmly in layers and come wearing sneakers, a cozy hat and gloves.

The course stretches out over three or four miles, and along the way there will be obstacles such as the Donkey Kong Roll, The Keg Kingdom, and the ever popular quarter mile Christmas Tree Carry. All those who attempt to meet the challenges will walk away with bragging rights as well as Promotional Products including a T-shirt and finisher’s medal.

Once they have completed the course, all of the runners will be invited to warm up in the after party. Here, they will be welcome to enjoy appetizers and drinks while they mingle and swap stories about their day. This event is being held as a fundraiser for the United Way of Nashua, and anyone who feels they are up to the task is welcome.

The Blizzard Blast Winter Obstacle Run will be taking place on January 26. Mine Falls Park has been chosen as the location for the event.
