Spring events to play their community role

A pair of events taking place in Nashua this April will provide funds for organizations dedicated to improving the lives of others.

The first event is a fundraiser for Girls Inc. of New Hampshire. The organization is currently running an online auction to raise funds. It will finish off with an Auction Gala, which is set to feature a silent and live auction. Items up for bidding include clothing, entertainment, jewelry, memorabilia, wine, and Red Sox tickets.

Girls, Inc. strives to improve the self-esteem of girls. Among the programs it provides are after school programs and summer camps.

The next night, the 2nd annual Swing into Spring Gala is taking place. A fundraiser for the Nashua Community College's Student Scholarship Fund, the night will include dinner, a silent auction, live music, and dancing. Three students will also be awarded scholarships.

Nashua brochure printers are often asked to provide programs for fundraising events such as these. Programs serve as a souvenir, but also allow local businesses to advertise.

The Auction Gala will be held at the Radisson Hotel on April 17 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Tickets are $50 each. For more information, call 603-882-6256.
