New bank could be on the way for Nashua

The Nashua city planners recently received a proposal for the construction of a new branch of Enterprise Bank , to be located on Amherst Street.

The proposed development is planned for 493 Amherst Street, which would require the demolishing of the structure that currently stands there, which was built in 1978.

The plan calls for the erection of a new building which will be about 4,500 square feet. It will include facilities for a drive-through, and also improvements to the landscaping and a new sidewalk. This is a proposal for some small changes to the current parking space arrangement. The owner of the property noted that they hope to one day make upgrades to the entire parking lot, including a comprehensive plan for landscaping the site.

The design of the new bank building will involve the construction of a structure with a sloping roof, clapboard on the exterior walls, and brick and asphalt shingles. Once this new branch is up and running, a company that provides digital Business Cards will be able to offer cards and any other printed artifacts the bank and its employees may require.

Acceding to Jack Clancy, who is Enterprise Banks’ chief executive officer, the company has built eight branches over the past six years, and these investments to growth bode well for Enterprise’s future.
