Nashua residents who would like to find out how to restore old furniture with a coat of paint are invited to be part of an evening workshop, and fun with friends will also be on the agenda.
Recolor Paints will be partnering with Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore retail shop to offer an event that will demonstrate how simple it can be to use paint to give an old piece of furniture a brand new style. The tutor will use a signature chalk paint from Recolor, and will share tips for achieving a variety of looks.
While the learners in the class enjoy discovering their hidden artistic talent, they will be welcome to enjoy the snacks and other light refreshments provided. All ages are invited to participate, and at the end of the session, the group will go home ready to put their new painting skills to use.
Tickets for the “Chalk Paint Furniture Demo" are now on sale, and they are $15 each. Placing Flyers in prominent locations throughout the community can aid in promoting a function like this to the community, and these can be obtained from a local printing services company.
Those who register for the class are asked to arrive at 6:00 pm on July 25. The venue for the activity can be found at 352 Amherst Street.
