Nashua workshop to build better home buyers

Buying a new home can be a scary prospect, but those who take a seat in an upcoming Nashua workshop will walk away feeling more confident in their ability to purchase their first home.

The session has been planned so that it will investigate the topic of purchasing a home right from the bottom floor on up. Its stated goal is to share, “tools and resources needed to make good financial decisions at every stage of the home buying process”, and the registration fee is $69.

The workshop will offer an exploration of the pros and cons of buying a house, as it may not be the right choice for everyone. It will also aid the participants in determining what they can afford while, at the same time, providing tips about attaining a high credit score. There will be a discussion of pre-approved mortgages and home types and styles, and the attendees will also find out what they should do before they even start looking at homes.

While the daylong event will look into the steps to follow to be well prepared to buy a home, it will also cover the actual buying process. Making an offer, having the structure inspected, and closing the deal will also be discussed. Lunch will be served, and each of the participants will be able to spend some one-on-one time with a certified counselor to talk about their home-buying needs and goals.

At the end of the day, the students will all be going home with a manual they can refer to throughout the buying process. Items like these can be prepared by Print shops using the customer's preferred binding technique.

April 27 has been set as the date for the Nashua Home Buyers Seminar. It will be offered at 20 Broad Street.
