Nashua veterans welcomed to business startup event

Veterans from Nashua are invited to come to an event that can help them decide if entrepreneurship is a good fit for them.

The Veteran’s Business Outreach Center (VBOC) will be hosting an information evening that will give attendees information they can use in deciding whether or not to start their own business. A variety of topics will be addressed, including what are common traits of entrepreneurs, what are the risks and rewards of an individual starting their own company, the value of a business plan and what sorts of supports the VBOC can provide. Participants will also complete a self-assessment questionnaire to further help them in their decision. Those who organize an event like this can make use of digital Copying Services to produce Copies of handouts and other materials that can be distributed to the attendees.

When the workshop has been completed, attendees will have an opportunity to sign up for an individual consultation with a counselor from the VBOC. The event is being offered free of charge, but those who plan on taking part need to register ahead of time.

The “Is Entrepreneurship Right for You” information session will take pace on February 15th from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm at Center for Women and Enterprise (CWE) New Hampshire, which can be found at 30 Temple Street, Suite 601 in Nashua. A link to register, as well as further details, have been provided on the Center for Women and Enterprise.
