Nashua venue plans pop-up market
Like many communities across the USA, Nashua has plans in the works for an activity that will showcase its small business and creative side, all under one roof.
The Nashua Senior Activity Center will soon be welcoming all for the Fall Harvest Craft Fair. Running for six hours, it will offer a relaxed and festive shopping experience.
At least 40 vendors have already added their name to the list of businesses setting up shop, and many of the items in the mix will be made by hand. The sweet tooths in the crowd can make their first stop at the bake sale, and the kitchen will have breakfast and lunch dishes on offer. The venue’s Round Again Shop will be open as well.
As with many pop-up markets, The Fall Harvest Fair is counting on volunteers to lend a helping hand. Anyone interested is asked to call 603-609-7989. Not-for-profit groups often hold special volunteer appreciation activities where corporate gifts are presented to them to thank them for their generous spirit.
This chance to show some love to local small businesses will run from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 4. Anyone who would like to find out more or wants to donate items for the bake sale is asked to contact mackerman@nashuaseniorcenter.org. Both parking and admission will be free of charge.
