Mother's Day is a time to thank Mom for all she does, and a Nashua area garden club wants to help mark the occasion.
The Colonial Garden Club of Hollis hosts a variety of activities for the public, and its pre-Mother’s Day annual Plant Sale will offer more than 2,000 plants to choose from. There will be plenty of gift ideas in the mix, and the perennials will have been grown, dug, divided, and potted up by club members.
The sale will include both sun- and shade-loving species, and unusual cultivars will be on offer. Major credit cards, cash, and Checks will all be accepted, and there will be personnel on hand to help with selection as well as loading purchases in the pick-up area. Everyone will be able to browse for as long as they wish, and it will be open for three hours.
Community service organizations and clubs often choose to host fundraising activities, and Print shops will have a variety of ways of helping to generate public interest. These include flyer printing and other services, and its customers can choose the ones that best suit their needs and budget.
The Colonial Garden Club of Hollis has scheduled this fundraiser for May 7. It will be open to the public from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm at Lawrence Barn.
