The Holiday Stroll is taking place in downtown Nashua at the end of the month.
The evening event will start off with a candlelight procession from City Hall to Railroad Square for the lighting of the official holiday tree. During this, the streets will be closed to traffic.
Along the way, there will be live entertainers performing dance, theater, and magic. Face painting will keep the keeps amused, as will various street vendors.
Taking place the same night is the Holiday Craft Fair at St. Patrick's Church from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm. More than 40 crafters will be on hand to sell their handmade items, such as jewelry, holiday decorations, and art works.
Also, the 2nd annual Homes for the Holidays Gingerbread House Contest, hosted by the St. Phillip Greek Orthodox Church, will display all of the entries at Martha's Exchange Restaurant. The contest is still open to entries until this Thursday, November 20, and ribbons will be handed out for the first, second, and third place in each of six categories. After the contest, the houses will be raffled off.
Vendors who choose to participate in this evening event in Nashua will naturally want to get as much attention as possible from passersby. They may do this be investing in sign or banner printing services.
