The Rotary Club of Nashua West will be living up to its motto of “service above self” by hosting a fundraiser that will feature some tiny yellow racers.
The Nashua Duck Derby is being presented by Rotary Club of Nashua West, and ducks are still available for adoption at the time of writing. A total of 10,000 ducks will be hitting the water in Renaissance Park.
The activity will see volunteers tagging the thousands of rubber ducks with numbers, and to keep the competition fair, these will not be released to the registrants. The fun in store for the day will kick off before the race begins and there will be workshops, exhibits, food, and also live music. The ducks will take to the water at 2:00 pm, and the first three to make their way across the finish line will win. Their “adopter” does not need to be on site to win, as they will be contacted by the organizers.
A rubber duck race or other out-of-the-box fundraiser may be a lot of fun, and a banner printing company can help to add even more excitement to the day. They can prepare everything from Signs to flags to post at an event’s finish line.
The rubber duck racers in this year's Nashua Duck Derby will be held on October 14. Anyone who is interested can find out more on the function's website.
