Attending area craft fairs is a popular fall activity, and one of these events will be on offer in Nashua.
Nashua North High School has provided space for the Lil Iguana’s Children’s Safety Foundation’s pop craft sale, and the agenda for the day also includes a raffle prize draw. While the public enjoys browsing through the handmade items, they will be helping to find children’s safety programming offered by the organization, and admission is free.
The monies raised through the event will come from vendor table bookings and raffle ticket sales, and there will be at least 50 prizes drawn for. Many of these will have been donated by the area's business community, and range from sports memorabilia to special experience packages. The market will be open for browsing and buying for five hours, and it may provide an opportunity for everyone who comes out to both start and finish their holiday shopping.
The success of a function like this may be dependent upon how well it is promoted to residents. A flyer printing company will be able to help, and can prepare door hangers, postcard style mailers and other materials that aid in spreading the word.
This fundraiser is scheduled for November 13, and the doors will open to buyers at 9:00 am. Those who arrive early will be able to access the greatest selection of handmade gift ideas.
