Nashua fundraiser to offer hand up to vets

A Nashua area function will help to carry the load veterans often hold even after they retire.

For one evening this coming September, a group of service men and women will be taking to the catwalk for a fashion filled fundraiser. It will be held at the McIntyre Ski Area, and tickets may be ordered ahead of time or purchased at the door.

The occasion will see these military personnel take off their uniforms and transition to high fashion as they walk the runway, and the proceeds will be donated to the Veterans Count charity. This organization offers support to military families, veterans, and service members in a variety of ways. Hors d’oeuvres will be served, and a cash bar will be set up for the enjoyment of the guests.

Tickets for this celebration start at $60 each, and VIP passes for a table of six are also on offer for $750. Programs for a function are often used to provide the guests at an event with more information about a cause, and these can be crafted by an area brochure printing company.

This chance to offer a special salute to former and currently serving military members, as well as their families, will begin at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, September 20. The show will open at 6:00 pm.
