An event has been planned for Nashua that will give participants a chance to sample craft beers and ciders for the local area and beyond.
The Gate City Brewfest and Wing Competition will have something for young and old alike. There will be beer tastings, a wing competition, live music, games and other entrainment on tap. For the kids, bounce houses will be set up, as well as a build-your-own burger bar, and a caricaturist will also be on hand. Even Budweiser’s team of Clydesdale horses will be making an appearance. In an effort to make it easy to get to and from the festival, its organizers have set up a shuttle service that will leave from the city hall garage on Main Street in Nashua and make stops at the High Street Lot, Main Street bridge and Holoman Stadium. There is no charge to make use of this transportation.
The fourth annual gate City Brewfest and Wing Competition will take place on August 20th at Holman Stadium. Tickets can be purchased online thought the event’s website. They are also available at The Beer Store, which is located at 433 Amherst St.
