Succulents are a type of houseplant that is currently in vogue, and they will be the centerpieces for a class coming up at a Nashua venue.
A plant and sip will be held at La Hacienda Del Rio this September that will teach the basics of growing succulents in a special container. It is restricted to those of legal drinking age in the state, and the workshop will run for two hours.
The facilitator of the occasion will teach the participants how to create their own planting, and they can choose from a Zen-style garden, a terrarium or other arrangement. Those interested can attend on their own or as part of a group, or take advantage of a fun idea for a date night. Each ticket holder will be supplied with all the materials, and they will be welcome to purchase a drink to sip on while they work. They will share tips to keep their mini garden going for a long time to come.
For any class that introduces the public to the care and culture of houseplants, sheets that offer care advice and other details may be ordered from local Print shops.
This evening of horticulture will be held on Wednesday, September 28, and it will begin at 7:00 pm. No experience is needed to enjoy the activity.
