Nashua camp will explore careers in nursing

While summer time can be vacation time for many kids, a Nashua camp has been planned that will provide boys and girls who are in 7th and 8th grades with a sneak peek into the world of nursing.

The camp, which has been planned to provide those who are considering a nursing career with a chance to learn more about the profession, will combine education with fun. The topics that will be covered during the event range from body systems to medical terminology, and it will be offered at Nashua Community College.

The registration fee for the session is $250 each, and scholarships may be available for families who need some financial assistance to meet this expense. Free transportation can be arranged from and to the Boys and Girls Club in Nashua, and anyone who would like to take advantage of this offer are asked to sign up for this service before the camp begins. Brochure printing can be used to create materials that can be distributed to kids and parents who are interested in learning more about an educational opportunity such as this.

The camp is scheduled to begin on July 30, and it will run until August 3. It will take place at 505 Amherst Street, and is open to any boy or girl in grade 7 or 8 who is interested in taking part.
