Both the young and the young at heart may enjoy a Nashua area afternoon of getting up close to an assortment of big rigs, with some trick or treating added as part of the day.
Touch a Truck or Treat will be held in mid-October, filled with everything from construction and other commercial vehicles such as dump and cement trucks, to those used by first responders, and there will also be several customized motorcycles in the mix as well. To help make the function even more fun, the organizers have added a special Halloween twist to the occasion.
Whether they are a child or an adult, everyone in attendance is encouraged to wear a fun Halloween costume, and prizes will be presented. The organizers have put out a call to local businesses, individuals, and not-for-profit groups that would like to get involved - they are asked to call 603-429-2003 to get involved.
A banner printing company will be able to lend a hand to a function like this by supplying a full line of options for customized decor. Some of these can be used over and over, making them a cost-effective option.
Free to attend, the event will be held at 30 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack and has been scheduled for October 16. Everyone is encouraged to come out and help make it a success.
