A Nashua area group has a plant sale in the works for this May, offering locals a chance to score some horticultural finds.
The Milford Garden Club has set the date for its 2024 Plant Sale, and it will help gardeners to add to their beds while still staying on budget. While the plants may be the big draw for some, there will be lots more to see and do, and all ages are invited.
The shoppers will be able to purchase perennials as well as annuals, and expert advice will be on hand as well. Garden decor will be available at the vendor tables, and honey products are also set to be on offer. The Milford High School Jazz band will supply the entertainment, and a bake table and raffle draw will round out the festivities.
The Club has issued a special invite to families, as there will be an age-appropriate activity for the kids. Stationery printers can be counted on to prepare coloring sheets and other items to hand out to the youngest guests at an event.
The annual Milford Garden Club Plant Sale will be welcoming a new gardening season on Saturday, May 18. It will be set up on the Community House Lawn at the corner of Elm and Union in Milford, and will begin at 8:30 am.
