Nashua animal lovers have a photo opportunity

Pet owners and those who wish to lend a helping hand to the Humane Society of Greater Nashua are invited to attend an event geared towards them.

Owners are invited to have their furry, feathery, or scaly friend’s photo taken with the Easter Bunny. They can choose between a cheerful spring or colorful Easter background, and they will be given a copy of the 4x6 photograph to keep. Other members of the family, be they human or animal, are also welcome to get in on the fun and be included in the picture as well.

The cost for the photo will be $10, which will be given to the shelter and used to help support its activities to help abandoned and unwanted animals. With the permission of the pet’s owners, the pictures taken can even be collected into Calendars that can be sold as fundraising items for the facility.

Those who wish to have their pet’s photo taken do not need to have an appointment to do so. They are asked to have their payment ready as either cash or a check, and are reminded that since green will not show up well in the photo, it is advisable to wear a different color.

The photography session will be taking place at the Animal Hospital of Nashua, which is located at 168 Main Dunstable Road on March 12 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.
