Open house to be held at nursing school in Nashua

Residents of Nashua and the surrounding area who are considering a career in nursing are invited to an event that may be of interest to them.

The St. Joseph School of Nursing will be hosting an open house for prospective students and their families, and also guidance counselors from local high schools. Three different information sessions will be held, and they will give those who come out an opportunity to learn more about this particular career and what the school has to offer. Brochures that give further details can be provided to each person who comes out to information sessions such as these.

The school provides an Associate of Science in Nursing Degree program, which allows those who complete it to take their NCLEX_RN licensure exam. This is a two-year course of studies, and there is also a one year, fast-track program for those who are already LPNs. It is approved by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing.

Free parking will be provided to all those who come out for the open house on August 3 at 5 Woodward Avenue in Nashua. Those who are interested in taking part are asked to register ahead of time through the Eventbrite website. A second event will take place on September 21, with the deadline for an application for admittance into the January 2017 semester being set for October 14.
