Fitness workshop raises the bar

Anyone interested in working out using barbells is invited to attend new workshop created to perfect the use of squat techniques using the pieces of equipment.

StrongFirst barbell instructor Mike Perry will host the session, and may have used flyer printing and poster printing to promote it to members and residents interesting in building their physique.

Perry will provide information to guests about the techniques that provide the optimal squat, as well as stances that will work for their body type. Guests will learn about some of the tension techniques and breathing exercises that will kept them safe and increase their lifting power.

This is an introductory workshop with emphasis being place on the safe use of barbells when lifting. Guests are reminded to wear comfortable clothing and proper footwear. Upon completion of this workshop, all guests should know how to lift safety and which type of squat works best for them.

The cost is $25 per person and advance registration is required, as space is very limited. The Barbell Squat Workshop will be held on Wednesday, May 21, starting at 6:30 pm at Skill of Strength located at 73 Princeton Street, Unit 9, in North Chelmsford, just down the road from Nashua, New Hampshire.
