Concord gives lift off to anniversary with holiday party

The Concord Family YMCA New Year's Eve Gala will be held at the end of this month. All proceeds from the event will go towards the YMCA's annual campaign.

The celebration will also act as the kickoff event for the city’s 250th anniversary in 2015, and there will be many more events taking place in the city throughout the coming year. The gala will be highlighting various decades, spanning from the 1800s through the 1980s, and guests are encouraged to come dressed in the styles of their favorite decade. Attendees will enjoy dinner, dancing, a champagne toast, and a photo keepsake of the event, while music from the Dusty Gray Band and DJ Nazzy entertains them.

No doubt visitors from around the area will want to attend this event. A neighboring hotel is offering room rates so people from Nashua and other nearby areas can stay overnight. Organizers may also have invested in flyer printing services to help let people know about this special fundraising event.

The event will be held in the Grand Ballroom at the Grappone Conference Center on December 31 from 7:30 pm to just after midnight. Tickets cost $75 each, $550 for a table of eight, or $657 for 10 people. Contact Kim Murdoch at 603-369-7889 to learn more about this celebration.
