Business owners have city event pairing to look forward to

Two events of interest to the Nashua business community are taking place this winter.

The first of them will be the 2015 State of the City. Mayor Donnalee Lozeau will be giving her last state of the city address. It will be conducted as an open forum, and she will answer questions from those in attendance in order to address any concerns.

Later on, in early March, the Small Business Expo will give local business owners a chance to showcase their products and services. Businesses can still apply to take part in the expo, but need to do so by this Saturday, February 14.

A six-foot table is available for profitmaking businesses for $170 for Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce members, and $220 for nonmembers. Nonprofit fees are $95 and $120 respectively.

The evening will start off with a reception at which exhibitors can network with their peers. Admission to the reception is $5 for chamber members and $15 for nonmembers.

Both events will likely be widely advertised in Nashua. Vendors and organizers may invest in flyer printing services to help spread the word.

The State of the City will be held at the Courtyard Marriott on February 18 from 7:30 pm - 9:00 am. Admission is $25 for chamber members and $35 for non-members.

The Small Business Expo will take place at the Radisson Hotel on March 11 from 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm.
