Stratham session to focus on summer gardening

As many Stratham gardeners know, the high seasonal temperatures can be hard on their plants, but a secret weapon is on offer that can teach them how to help their beds beat the heat.

The team at Bedrock Gardens in Lee will be offering a class that will be focused on summer garden maintenance, and all levels of experience are welcome. Both members and non-members can participate, and each attendee will also be granted entry to the venue for the rest of the day.

The facilitator for the session will discuss the importance of deadheading, and tips for weeding efficiently will be shared as well. Pruning a variety of shrubs to maintain their shape or create a new one will be reviewed, and different techniques for this are on the agenda. The listing for the activity explained that the workshop is best suited to older teens and adults. Bedrock Gardens is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit group.

Home gardeners that would like to learn some new skills may appreciate being able to participate in a class or other educational event. Learning materials, including handouts, can be crafted by Stationery printers.

Bedrock Gardens will be providing the public with this chance to discover ways to keep their garden looking great on July 19th. It will start at 10:30 am and run until 12:00 pm.
