Stratham kids who love animals are able to spend some time with a new furry friend thanks to a program planned by the New Hampshire SPCA.
The organization is welcoming children from age two to five for storytime activities that take place twice each week. Parents or guardians can register their child for either a morning or afternoon session, and there are animals on hand for them to interact with.
Parents are asked to preregister their youngster for the activity, and during the hour-long function, they will hear a story, color a picture, and spend some time with a special four-legged guest. Masks are required, and to allow for social distancing, each timeslot is limited to just 12 spaces. The ticket price is $5, and each family can reserve up to three spaces.
By introducing kids to animals at a young age, an organization may help them to develop a sense of connection and kindness to the other creatures that share their world. Stationery printers will be able to support this sort of initiative by supplying coloring and activity sheets, as well as small themed Corporate Gifts to give to each attendee.
The Storytime with the Animals is being held on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout January, and the venue for these can be found at 104 Portsmouth Avenue in Stratham. The organizers can be reached at 603-772-2921.
