Kids often enjoy watching butterflies while they flutter from flower to flower, and an upcoming Stratham area event will help them craft an item for their fathers that will offer these pretty creatures a special treat.
Churchill’s Garden Center has scheduled a hands-on workshop that will help kids craft butterfly feeders to give to their dad or another special man in their life in honor of Father’s Day. The activity will be guided by a staff member, and the registration fee for the session is $17.85.
Partaking youngsters will be using plastic saucers, beads, and other items to prepare their feeders, and they will be constructed so they will be easy to hang. While they work, they will have the chance to learn facts about butterflies and why they are important. As the workshop is expected to fill up quickly, registration must be made in advance. It will take one hour to complete the activity.
Interactive crafting projects and other group sessions can make learning fun for any age. Copies of handouts and other materials for an activity can be prepared by a flyer printing company.
This morning of creating butterfly feeding stations for Father’s Day will be offered to Stratham families on Saturday, June 15. It will begin at 11:00 am, and the host venue is located at 12 Hampton Road in Exeter.
