Stratham invited to discover dish gardens

A Stratham area workshop will help those who enjoy a certain style of planting.

In a dish garden, several plants with the same requirements are grown together in an attractive arrangement. The hands-on workshop on offer at Rolling Green Nursery next month will teach the basics of putting together a small dish garden.

Tickets are $10.00 each, and those who purchase one will be able to use this fee as a credit towards any purchases they make at the nursery on the day of the activity.

The 20-minute talk will cover the fundamentals of choosing combos for a planting, and there will even be a demonstration of how to install them all in the same container. After this, the participants will head to the sales area to choose a pot and plants, and the session will wrap up with the learners spending some time potting up their selections with guidance from trained staff.

The organizers of this activity explained that there is room for up to 10 registrants, and masks are required. Supplying printed care sheets to each student in this sort of function will make it easier for them to look after their new plants, and these can be obtained from area Stationery printers.

The Dish Garden Make and Take workshop will welcome registrants on February 6. The nursery hosting the fun is located at 64 Breakfast Hill in Greenland.
