A family-friendly day in the park will also do a good turn for homeless animals in the community, at a special Stratham event this summer.
PawsWalk will raise money for the New Hampshire SPCA, and the funds collected will help it to continue its lifesaving work. The day will include a walk as well as an outdoor fair, and food, adoptable pet meet and greets, and games have all been scheduled for the occasion.
The fundraiser tends to draw a crowd of at least 1,500, and they can all enjoy the walk, browse through the items in the vendor area, and maybe even find a new furry or feathery friend. Food will be available for anyone who wants to snack, and the monies collected will help to provide the shelter pets with medical care, food, and a connection to a new and loving forever home of their own.
