Wild birds need all the help they can get to survive the cold winter months, and Stratham children will be given the opportunity to lend them a helping hand.
Churchill’s Garden Center will be celebrating Valentine’s Day by helping kids show some love to their feathered friends. It may be a good fit for both nature and craft lovers, and parents are asked to register their child in advance.
The participants in the activity will be making seed ornaments for wild birds, and in keeping with the theme of the day, they will be heart shaped and ready to hang up. While they work, they will learn about the birds that can be found in the area, as well as ways they can help care for them. Attending children will have the opportunity to take their finished project home with them, and with a bit of luck, it will not take long for the birds to find it.
An event that includes crafts can make learning fun for kids and adults alike. A flyer printing company can play a role in an event’s success by ensuring it is well publicized in the local area.
Churchill’s Garden Center will be spreading the love this February with its Valentine's crafting workshop on Saturday, February 10. It will begin at 2:00pm, and its registration system can be accessed via its online listing.
