Stratham area celebration to greet arrival of holidays

As the holiday season draws closer, the Stratham area is getting ready by preparing for a special event.

Market Square in Portsmouth has scheduled its annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Parade for 2021, and it will be an event that can be enjoyed in person. To help make the season happier for all, a non-perishable food drive is one of the activities on the agenda, and everyone has been asked to be as generous as they can when they choose their donations.

The day will kick off with a Tree Lighting in Market Square, and after this, there will be a holiday parade that will proceed along Islington Street. Attendees have been advised that there will not be any downtown parking available on the evening when the function will take place.
