Stratham companion animals in need will be getting lots of TLC in the coming months, thanks to an upcoming signature fundraising event.
Deck the Howls 2023 is right around the corner for the community. This event is aimed at those between the ages of 6-12, and there are plenty of special activities on the agenda that will be themed to reflect the time of year.
The party guests will be treated to a candlelight tour of the shelter, and they can see how it cares for its animals in need. This will be followed by a bedtime story session, where kids can read to one of the residents, along with crafting, snacking on holiday treats, and helping to decorate the venue.
The attendees are reminded to wear shoes with closed toes and their favorite pair of PJs. While parents may attend, it is recommended they drop their child off for the session if possible.
Holiday activities can be a great way to raise money for local causes. A banner printing company can be tasked with preparing special decor and other items for fundraising events like this one.
The team at New Hampshire SPCA’s shelter in Stratham will be welcoming kids for this festive celebration on December 14th. It is scheduled to begin at 5:30pm, and tickets are $25.00 per child.
