Stratham seafood fans who love nothing better than enjoying some freshly shucked oysters may want to be at an event that will feature a shellfish feast.
The Seacoast Oysterfest celebrates this popular shellfish, and it will be serving up oysters sourced from a variety of New England commercial oyster farms. Each will have its own unique flavor, and tickets for the day are $40 each.
Ticketholders for the festival will be able to sample oysters for as long as supplies last, and the proceeds from the ticket sales will be passed along to the oyster farm owners. It will be held rain or shine, and the vendors will each be under a tent so they can stay dry in case of rain. The festivities are scheduled for the main floor of Bernie’s Beach Bar in Hampton Beach, and there will be parking available across from the venue. Passes need to be purchased in advance.
