Future parents welcome at local brunch and learn

A Stratham area brunch will connect parents-to-be with others who are going through the same exciting yet nerve-racking experience.

The Bumps and Brunch session, which will be offered in person by Relief Parenting Respite and Resource Center, is open to any pregnant woman, along with her partner. The attendees will receive a wealth of information and tips that can make their pregnancy an even more positive experience, and it will also work to remove some of the fear and apprehension that can be part of the process.

The topics on the agenda for the occasion range from the value of doula care to birth planning, adjustment support for siblings, and communication tips for partners during the postpartum period. The guests can meet a selection of doulas, and refreshments will be served. The organizer explained it is a valuable opportunity for the registrants to learn about the resources in their community that have been put into place to help families, and it is free to get involved.

Giving expecting parents a chance to learn and meet other parents-to-be is one way an organization can support the local community. A brochure printing company can supply any pamphlets or other publications the group needs to market itself to the public.

The Bumps and Brunch session will be held on December 19. It can be found at 387 Lafayette Road in Hampton.
