What's Happening in Winston-Salem, NC…

Winston-Salem tour provides sneak peek into local gardens

The Garden Club of North Carolina offers home and other horticulturalists opportunities to learn, connect and have fun, and it recently announced that a special tour is on the agenda for Winston-Salem.

The Garden Club Council of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County will be welcoming garden lovers for its tour of several local properties. It will be held rain or shine, and it is hoped that the chance to view a variety of one-of-a-kind plantings will provide inspiration for those who sign up.

Each of the gardens on the curated list will boast its own design aesthetic and personality, showcasing plants in a variety of ways. An urban farm is included in the tour.

Both VIP and tour-only tickets are available. The VIP options offer the garden visits as well as a boxed lunch, and also the chance to take a sneak peek into an additional property.

Open house events provide an insider's view into spaces that are otherwise usually closed to the public. Stationery printers may be called on to supply printed maps as well as brochures with details about a venue, and they can also craft lanyards and other promotional products to hand out.

The 2025 Winston-Salem Garden Tour will help the city spring into a new season on Sunday, April 27. It will run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, and the organizers can be contacted at WSGardenTour@gmail.com.
