Fall prevention can be an important step in the safety of seniors and older adults, and this will be the topic of focus for a Winston-Salem expo style occasion.
The 3rd annual Piedmont Area Falls Free Expo is set to provide its attendees with practical information that may help them to keep active, healthy, and independent in their own home. It may also be of interest to caregivers and professionals as well.
The activity is being planned and hosted by the Piedmont Area Falls Coalition, and it will bring together health care providers as well as experts in arguing and a variety of community service organizations. Everyone can take part in engaging activities, or balance screenings, and the distribution of information are also on the agenda. Mini-workshops and presentations have been organized, and those who register in advance will be treated to a free lunch.
Along with the rest of the fun that's on the way, the event will feature door prize draws and giveaways of Promotional Products and other swag. A Grand Prize drawing for Activity Card Participants will wrap up the day.
Winston-Salem seniors will be offered this day focused on fall prevention and other safety related topics on September 23rd. The venue will be 114 30th Street, and its listing includes an opportunity to register as well as reserve a vendor spot.
