Winston-Salem museum and garden to host holiday parties
Old Salem Museum and Gardens is a popular venue in Winston-Salem, and it has put on an action-packed schedule for its Joy of Christmas Evening Tours.
Starting tomorrow, the location will be showing its festive side when it welcomes evening tours on Fridays and Saturdays. These may appeal to both the local history buff and the horticultural aficionado, and will also be fun for the kids in the crowd.
The list of activities planned includes illuminations as well as springerle molds, and there will also be an ornament-making station where the guests can make a keepsake to take home. There will be tours by lantern light and seasonal storytelling, and each group will have enough space for 12 attendees. Everyone has been asked to arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of their start time.
A historic venue preparing for a holiday-themed event may be in the market for period-style decor. This can be prepared by the graphic design team at a local banner printing company, and both reusable and single-use options may be needed.
These evening tours of a Winston-Salem historic site will be offered from tomorrow, November 29, up until Saturday, December 21. Tickets are still available at the time of writing. More information about the available timeslots and other details are available on the Old Salem website.
