Nature’s Value Inc. is planning to expand to Winston-Salem for its manufacturing operations with an investment of over $19 million. The company is a global contract manufacturer of dietary and vitamin supplements and will be creating more than 183 new jobs with this expansion.
Job fairs are often held when such positions need to be filled. These jobs fairs can be promoted throughout a community with poster printing.
Nature’s Value plans to expand to Whitaker Park in Winston-Salem and consolidate its operations in a state-of-the-art manufacturing, testing and laboratory production center that will span 426,000 square feet. CEO of Nature’s Value, Oscar Ramjeet, said that this project will enable the company to be more accessible to its primary customers and more competitive and will create economic and employment opportunities for the state of North Carolina.
A Job Development Investment Grant (JDIG) will facilitate the expansion of the company. The expansion project is estimated to grow the economy of the state by over $780 million over the 12-year term of the grant in addition to the tax revenue from the new jobs. The grant will enable a potential reimbursement to the company of close to $2 million spread over 12 years.
Governor Roy Cooper said that an increasing number of manufacturers are moving to North Carolina. He added that the strong transportation infrastructure and affordable cost of living in the state make it attractive for the growth of manufacturers.
